Wei Gao: Manlius, NY, United States; I love to teach Chinese because this is the language I speak the best! Plus, it is really a beautiful language to speak and fun to write. I grew up in China and finished my college in Bejing before I came to the United States. My years of living in the United States have been very fullfilling while I pursued my graduate school education, raised three lovely children and taught Chinese to students of different ages. I believe it is very powerful to be able to communicate with people from another culture in their native tongues, and I look at it as a honor to be able to help our students learn and appreciate a new language and culture while having fun doing so.
